Here is the lastest Anglers Artistry member Mr. Gary Peters of Ghent, NY. Gary spend a week with me and we worked on a Brown trout. Gary learned how to make a head mold and carve his won fish bodies. Here is a few pictures of Gary working out the Brown until finshed!

Your friend Rick Krane

Here is Gary working out a templet.

Here is Gary with his fish block ready to go a few studious notes first.

Here is the fish being ready for balance and semitry.

A final look over before mounting.

A nicely mounted Salmo Trutta!

A nicly Finshed Salmo Trutta! Way to go Gary!

I use studio lights to photograph my work . I looked at a few of the other photos I took at different angles and it is more silver /gold than a smoke color. but I did use some  Carbon Black in that area. I have found that trying to photograph a fish is much harder due to trying to eliminate glares. I feel that the photo is much to dark and i ended up with a bunch of shadows.
I ll get it right the next time.
