Rick, Brian just told me via PM that he felt that spending 5 days with you is likely the best thing hes ever done for his taxidermy career, and that he still cannot believe the scope of knowledge you shared.

Ahh Bill that is because we could tell stories of you from the old days and he got my jokes!!!! LOL! We did talk about you and I use you all the time as a point a personal reference for the discipline of excellence and as a great teacher! It is inspiring to me personally to see such quality come from a gentleman and a fellow who got his start in life in Rochester NY. I know there is must be some thing about western NY. Carl Ethan Akeley and you from the same town!!! Coincidence??? I think not!!!

You are the best Bill!!

Rick

This is the part I love!!!!! When a taxidermist goes back home and applies the skills and dedication to the hard work they did in learning how to practice the art of fish taxidermy and then with this hard work does work like this after only a few months then this is a great accomplishment for Mr. Mike Sweda of Germantown WI!!! Way to go mike!!!!Mike recently completed a workshop earlier this year and has been hard at work practicing hard on the skills it takes do finish beautiful work of fish art!! Here are a few pictures of Mike’s Musky! Way cool Mike! Keep up the great work!

I also wanted to share some pics from our vacation in which we were able to share with the bossman himself. Rick flew down for a few days of relaxation and fishing here in Kill Devil Hills NC. Too bad the fishing was pretty poor those days, but hopefully it was relaxing.  It's my goal to be a better guide next go round.

Here's Rick with a flounder from NC.

I also took Rick out crabbing which as pretty successful. Here's pics of Rick and I both pulling in some blue crabs.

Rick's fine net work.

And the great success.
