Hey Cecil,

I know that I promote your fish services as offten as I can and you know I recommend you to my students but I'm wondering why you have post here on this string not once but twice and never once commented on the great efforts of the folks who took the time to buy fish from you and did some really great work? All your asking is if they are yours? Yes My Students buy fish form you? Huh I know you like to post every where lately(LOL) but if you want to talk about your fish at least talk about their efforts and then your fish OK.

Rick

Rick,

Sorry if it appeared that way, but the fact that the work is so good -- since they are students of yours -- is a given to me. I guess I assumed that was already known. Yes, that is incredible work for first time students! Your reputation precedes you, and the pics you post are so outstanding, whether it's your work or one of your students, that I guess it never dawned on me I should pat someone on the back.

Thank you for pointing that out to me. God knows I'm misunderstood enough on here.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

hey Cecil!

LOL  No biggy! You Know that I'm very protective of my students and I want them not me to be acknowledged for their efforts. You me and any one who provides the art of teaching and boy it can be an art form some days (LOL) should take great pride in their students as it would be their time and effort is of great value and some times great sacrifice. The courage it takes some times for folks to leave there homes and be away spending hard earned money to learn form as I said you me or any one else is a true honor for any of us. I do take great pride in my students and I'm so proud when others look at their work with critique's and encouragement. This is what give some one the fortitude to stay in the business or develop the craft!

Well  Monty Artrip is waiting and He is still coming down for the 10 O'Clock teaching session lat evening! There are no clocks in the shop and we do go a bit pass 5 on most days! LOL!!!!! Monty is a great guy and I can't wait for to see he work! He will be something to compete with.  He brought some of your big Brookies out here! So be on the brookie watch!

My Best and get some work done today!LOL!!!

You're a real pal! Angry Cry Grin

Just kidding of course.

It's really none of my business, but why should cecil care about a students work, he's selling fish to them not teaching them.  I sell alot of bear and cougars, some to schools and some to Other Taxidermists, and i could care less how they were mounted or what they looked like when they are finished.   I dont see where Cecil is any way obligated to comment one way or another.

Hey Lee!

LOL! Based on your comment about not caring about very much I don’t know why you would bother to add to this or try to throw your two cents in if you don’t care? I see! I guess if you want to be part of a discussion with Cecil and I that was resolved your sure welcomes too? I guess it is silly? I’m not sure Cecil needs any one helping me make his own points but OK? I put a post up about some of the students work and so it would only make sense to me I guess that maybe just maybe this string is about just that? I know how silly right?

Cecil is well respected and you may be as well.  OK I made a point to Cecil that the student who purchased fish from him just may would like to hear from him some feed back kind of simple don’t you think? Well I guess not? Well Lee you and I don’t know each other and I’m sure you’re a great guy and entitled to your thoughts and options or even negative Karma points for my post? LOL! Cecil and I have known each other for some time and if you feel the need to set me straight on his behalf then have at it? Lee if you know me or have ever read any thing I have ever written you know I try to be positive in nature and help folks when I can. I just find it bizarre at best that a man who states “and I could care less how they were mounted or what they looked like when they are finished. As a person who provides a service should be aware that someone who is mounting on your goods may just be doing this for the first time and they care very much and should be encouraged to be welcomed in to our comminute. You also state” I don’t see where Cecil is any way obligated to comment one way or another.”  Because He just might care! I know Cecil and he has and always will be a first rate person who despite your opinion who would always show that he cares about new folks and there efforts.

Any way!

Have a great day! I have to get back to teaching. You can certainly call me or write me to me personally as I always am available for folks if you have some issues you would like to talk more about. My Name, email, and number are always posted. I’m sure this is one of those some one trying help out and being mistaken. You were trying to help others or me right? If not lets keep it positive for the sake of the others who aren’t here for controversy and what ever. Positive Lee! Keep it positive! Maybe you'll start caring then! Folks are trying to learn and see that we are all good folks I think.

So be well! My Best!

Hey I'm going to charge $10.00 extra for the fish I sell to Richard's students if they want me to say nice things about their mounts. Sounds fair doesn't it?  Grin

When will the Dvds be made available and will there be a written paint schedule with them. I want to know what fish will be offered as paint sheduals like Musky or Steelhead.
