 just got done painting up this eastern, hows it look to ya , too intense  Huh

casting looks good, but the markings seam too bright and have never seen those colors before. I get eastern hognose all the time as they are my favorite snake, and in the north east are quite tame color wise resembling a milk snake with tans and browns. BUT! Snakes very so much in color I guess you cant really paint em wrong, its all interprewtation of what you see. Nice job!

thanks, my casts are comming out better, though still getting some air air bubbles. eastern hognose are my favorite snakes too.
I love the show they put on. all the huffing and puffing, hooding up , and playing dead its so wild.and with all the color phases makes for some fun painting . heres a couple more just got done painting up,

and i call this one halloween phase, kind of blacky orange phase. with a scary skull hood display.

Nice stuff. Casts are really good. Gotta get a new one as a pet, problem is they do poorly in captivity due to the lack of small toad availability

I like the bright colored painting better then the real one. I do not know much about snakes but I love color. Great job.

no new easterns looks as though the eggs she was going to lay have went bad as well. i have a few other live snakes, western and southern hognose.  heres  a nice redish one
