Denatured alcohol and krowtann?

I have a quick question.  I have an iffy hide that I'd thought to thaw in denatured alcohol. I'm planning to tan with krowtann, any problems using these two chemicals on the same hide?

Never heard of trying it, you may be the first.

Give it a try, I would have thawed it in Krowtann.

Just remember Krowtann has vinegar in it or glacier acidic acid in it I don't know how it will react to denatured alcohol.
Before you put the hide in the Krowtwnn try just a little bit of the 2 mixed in a cup to see if they react.
Some chemicals have a very bad reaction to each other.

I had a raw cape that was iffy. I sprayed it down w/ denatured alcohol while fleshing off the meat and fat. Before i submersed it in the Krowtan. I let the denatured alc. evaporate. The cape wasnt dripping wet with it though. I had no ill effects whatsoever and the cape came out fine.
