i mixed a large batch of acid, i want to keep reusing it. when i add acid to level the ph. do i need to add more salt.

You need to check your salt. It goes up and down just like the pH. Get a Salometer. Your pickle's should read 40%+ I like to keep mine around 45%. One thing to remember is that the acid and salt are both cheap. Not a bad idea to make a new pickle every time.

It's very economical ,so I always mix a new batch,but if your gonna reuse your gonna have to make sure to check your salt content along with the ph.
