Hello again, long time no post :) I thought I would try to put up a wingtip as time allowed for it. The following pics show neck? head junction attachments with real skulls and artificial heads The real head pics are a pheasant and the fake head a mallard. I allow room for the neck to ''insert'' into the brain cavity and when ready I fill with hot glue or bondo. The photos showing the neck junction on the mallard also show how to prevent glue from getting on the head/neck feathers by simply punching a hole in a paper towel , inserting the neck through it, and then doing the attachment, it just acts as a ''bib''. I am doing another wingtip soon with these two birds showing a quick method for filling out the cheeks/wattles on a mallard and pheasant. Once again the pics tell way better than I can type out in words. GOOD LUCK!!

Lee, I usually set them after the bird is positioned BUT it depends on what mode i'm in as I do occasionally set some before hand such as raptors or birds with light colored eyes.

Wingman I was wondering if you turn your pheasants right side out to wash and dry and turn inside out again to insert the skull.
