Bear Skin Mittens

Hi all.  Hope the day is treating you well.  Just finished a full shoulder black bear mount.  There was a lot of hide left over, enough to make a pair of mittens.  Anyone have a pattern or ideas for me on making these??  I made mittens years ago, as a teenager, but its been awhile and any input would be greatly appreciated. woa! that sounds fun! Um, do you want the fur on the insiode or outside?  also, do you want the whole hand as one with a thumb, or individual fingers?  I have made leather gloves, so i can see if i can help!

I'd like to have the fur on the outside w/a whole hand and a thumb.  I've been told to get some short of batting, like alpaca or wool and then get some deer hide to use on the inside.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!  Hope you have a great day, take care.
