who has the best and the most reptile mannikins to choose from.  is there a supplier strictly for reptiles. all the catalogs i have have the same mannikins and not much of a choice.  i need variety not the same.

  Welcome to the wonderful world of reptile taxidermy. There is no such thing as a specialty reptile supplier, and the forms you see in the catalogs........well that's it. If you are doing reptiles (snakes, lizards, gators, etc) you better know or learn how to make your own forms, and how to use different techiniques to create different looking mounts in unique poses. I have yet to see one rattlesnake form on the market that is anatomically correct and doesn't need alteration of some sort. It doesn't exist.

WASCO has a good book on Reptile Taxidermy that you might want to concider buying.

Need to learn how to cast your own bodies/heads, etc...

Lots of good articles in BREAKTHROUGH magazines on fish techniques that can be copied to reptile taxidermy.
