The Week in Fish Pictures~ Week #39 June 29th 2007- July 5th 2007

Good Morning from Hinsdale New Hampshire!  I will tell you that PA has some seriously talented taxidermists! I really enjoyed spending time with Mr. Bob Bernetski. Bob visited with me for a week and we worked on some cool fish!
Here are a few pictures of Bob's Brownie!
I thank you for visiting and taking the time to share with us!!!

Week # 39 is upon us. Thanks to everyone who has participated last week! Well Over few thousand hits!!! Huge!!!!!! This is one of the fastest growing if not the fastest growing strings on the forum! It is because you share your talent and knowledge with others in a positive friendly manner! Folks need to see that learning is not about any thing then having fun and appreciating great work! Here's to all of you!

Last week we had some Great Fish from a lot of giving folks who don't mind sharing and helping others with some inspiration and cool fish!

We had lots of new folks and some folks who haven't been with us for a while! Welcome and Welcome back! The work this past week was nothing short of breath taking and the artist who shared take a bow for your beautiful efforts!

Each week Pictures can be posted of recent work or work your proud of to show and share with your peers!
 
Everyone is welcome to post, from beginners to the advanced.

Awesome fish Bob!!!  Way to go!!  I love browns.  They are an amzing and beautifull fish.  I have a couple around that size to do from wyoming I caught this spring.  Hope they look half as good as yours .  Rick, nothing short of your usual.  Lets see more.

doug,  amazing looking brown.     

quick question for you computer guru's  is there a reason why i can not seem to see some of the photos on my computer.  every week all of the photo's that rick posts,   i can not see.  however i can see some of the other ones??

Same customer with a 30+lb. Lake Mich. lake trout. Also skin mount with custom cast head.

Bob - incredible job on that Brown!

Doug, as usual always raising the bar for the rest of us! Incredible anatomy on those coldwater buggers.

Here's a couple of photos of that 10' Blue Marlin that had been in my shop for what seemed like FOREVER! It was nice to finally do one of these from scratch vs. the many restoration (basket case) billfish jobs I've done in the past. The blank came from New Wave and I upgraded with the mouth insert. I need to thank Mr. Bruce Foster for his help and time in edjumicating this midwesterner on the finer points of painting a billfish! My customer was very happy with the end result. However, I was a bit disappointed in the final photos. Especially the overall, outdoor shot. The fish looks nearly white, not silver. And many of the subtle pinks and purples are also lost in the photos (Yes, a Canon Digital is on my Christmas wish list!!!)

My shop now seems TWICE it's size since this one went out the door!
