The Week in Fish Pictures~ Week #40 July 5th 2007- July 12th 2007

Good evening from somewhere North in the beautiful White mountains of New Hampshire! Spending some time over the day of celebration of the USA independence happy 231!!! I'm relaxing this week with my daughter Amber, and my wonderful friend Kathie. Were all on a few days off and wanted to send the week in pictures off a few hours early. Another great week in picture for sure lots of great contributors and new comes alike!
I thank you for visiting and taking the time to share with us!!!

Week # 40 is upon us. Thanks to everyone who has participated last week! Well Over few thousand hits!!! Huge!!!!!! This is every week one of the biggest most popular spots on the forum! It is because you share your talent and knowledge with others in a positive friendly manner! Folks need to see that learning is not about any thing then having fun and appreciating great work! Here's to all of you!

Last week we had some Great Fish from a lot of giving folks who don't mind sharing and helping others with some inspiration and cool fish!

We had lots of new folks and some folks who haven't been with us for a while! Welcome and Welcome back! The work this past week was nothing short of breath taking and the artist who shared take a bow for your beautiful efforts!

Each week Pictures can be posted of recent work or work your proud of to show and share with your peers!

Everyone is welcome to post, from beginners to the advanced.

I thought I would start out this week with a few pictures from a budding fish head Paul Czarnecki of Waterford PA. Most know Paul for his outstanding bird work however Paul has jumped in to a bit of fish work. I did get to spend some time * boot camp style) and work with Paul on honing some of his creative talent to the world of fish! Paul will do well as he already had the obsessive perfectionist gene! LOL!  So here are a few pictures of Paul's work in detailing and learning to paint particular aspects of the fish independent of the fish as a whole. Enjoy!

Your friend Rick Krane

Here is a picture of a tail being detailed by Paul.

Here is a Dorsal fin after being detailed by Paul.

Here is the head after a few stages of paint work.

Here is the entire fish completed.

Nice fish All.
I had a chance to meet up with Paul C. earlier this week and was able to see that Steelhead in person and it really does look sweet.

I have a 44" x approx. 60lb. Carp (blank by Archie Phillips)

Great start to this week....beautiful work! Guess I'm in a rut....I posted a fall great lakes brown last week and here's 2 more for this week. Both are skin mounts with custom cast heads in the 20lb. range. They were both "fungussed up" pretty bad.
