It looks in pretty good shape for being 1000 years old. No chew marks or flaking horns.  Huh   Wonder what type of super glue he used.

Well off to the shop, I think I have a 1500 year skull to workup.  Grin

Just sent him a mesage asking for authentication of his claim.  We'll see if I get an answer.  If I don't get an answer, I might report it Ebay as a fraudulent claim.

Right now there are 3 bids on it.  Some people will believe anything.

I say that is BS, too!! I'm seriously shocked people actually believe those false claims.

Hidetanner, if you get authentication, please do share! I can't wait to see what else he or she comes up with to try and make a sale.

No word from the seller.  I did find this on Ebay prohibited list.

"Artifacts, cave formations (speleothems, stalactites, and stalagmites) and grave-related items that are protected under federal laws, such as The Federal Cave Resources Protection Act of 1988, and the Native American Grave Protection and Repatriation Act are not permitted on eBay.

Please follow the general guidelines in the ”Some Examples” section when listing related items on eBay.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

Listing cancellation
Limits on account privileges
Account suspension
Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
Loss of PowerSeller status"

If he's claiming it as an artifact, he's got problems.  Ebay will hear from me.

Maybe someone thinks they can get it for a lot less than $1000, notice the bid is only up to a little over $13. Maybe they want it for the horns (to mount on spare cape?) and they can take the torquiose off and make jewelry with it, but 50 bucks for shipping is a little steep. Maybe I should offer him $15 and he pay the shipping, LOL.

I think I've been fleamarketing too much Wink
