Nice. Like the carp, Bruch bass, and Katula Brown the best....

All I have are two  commercial, wholesale fish.

Repro Mahi Mahi..sorry for the background, no time to "cut"

Walleye skin mount. The flash really intensified the white....

VERY nice bluegill. Not an easy fish to pull off with convincing results.

Here's a lake trout from a lake in Canada's Yukon Territory.  The customer 'gutted' it before delivery but made a mold and cast anyway.

Thanks for all the great postings!

Rick,  Thanks for posting the pic.s. Inspiring to say the least. That bluegill blows me away. Did you get any other pic.s of it (angles, close-ups)? I would love to add those to my reference porfolio. Thanks.

My fourth attempt at a Brown Trout.  This one is a reproduction.  Excuse the base, not sure how I want to finish it yet.

Wow...those browns are great. Very beautiful work! You guys with your coldwater posts make me wish I had more trout work around here...Texas.
I absolutely love to paint trout, and truly enjoy seeing the many variations in color and shape on those buggers! Great eye candy, or "fish porn" as they called it in the last fly fishing magazine I read. LOL

The pics from the show are outstanding for sure. Both of the bass were sweet....the Brownies, the bluegill, all works of fine art.

Ive been skinning and mounting for 2 weeks, so I should have some wholesale stuff to post soon. Roll Eyes

Really outstanding stuff everyone!!!

Rick,
Thanks for the post of the winners. My carp is a tough item to photo. And a huge thanks for your informative seminars. For the ones that have never sat thru a Rick Krane  Seminar , you are missing out.The information anyone gets is way beyond what the seminar is about!!! During the slow times Rick is exploding  with more knowledge ,that most people can take notes. Many Taxidermist can produce great mounts but few can produce and teach then keep the intrest of the crowd like Rick.
THANKS SO MUCH!!

Thanks for the plug Rick.  Only one problem, you have moved me about 90 miles to the South.  I am actually an Okie.  Anyway, here is the shot Ken Edwards did at nationals of my bass, it is a little better photo.  And thanks for all the great seminar tips.  I enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you in the future.  Congratulations to Frank, Tim and all the other winners.  The carp was very eye catching.
