The Week in Fish Pictures~ Week #46 Aug 17th 2007- Aug 23rd  2007

Good Evening from Hinsdale New Hampshire! I know it is a bit Early this week for TWIP however I thought better early then late! I hope all is well in the world of fish! I have to say that last week was a wonderful week for this week in pictures!!!  So many great works or fish and lots of good people willing to share there gifts! We all benefit from such tremendous inspiration and I thank you for making my world or fish a better more impressive world of art!

Week # 46 is upon us. Thanks to everyone who has participated last week! Well Over few thousand hits!!! Huge!!!!!! This is every week one of the biggest most popular spots on the forum! It is because you share your talent and knowledge with others in a positive friendly manner! Folks need to see that learning is not about any thing then having fun and appreciating great work! Here's to all of you!

Last week we had some Great Fish from a lot of giving folks who don't mind sharing and helping others with some inspiration and cool fish!

We had lots of new folks and some folks who haven't been with us for a while! Welcome and Welcome back! The work this past week was nothing short of breath taking and the artist who shared take a bow for your beautiful efforts!

Each week Pictures can be posted of recent work or work your proud of to show and share with your peers!

Everyone is welcome to post, from beginners to the advanced.

I thought I would start out this week with a few pictures of a Anglers Artistry Alumni Mr. Stanley Nykorchuk now of Pittsfield MA formally of Pittsburgh PA! Stan is a 16 year old yong man and the son of a taxidermy family. Stans parents read up on learning here on the taxidermy.net and decided that Stanly would be the fish guy in family. Stanly is a diligent student and was a real talented and driven taxidermist!. Here are a few pictures of Stanley's first fish he did once he got home and the latest fish he sent me this week. I will be watching this young man closely! Have a great week!!!

Your friend Rick Krane

Here is Stan's first fish he did all on his own upon finshing his fish workshop.

Here is Stan latest fish # 4 I see a lot of new confidence and improvement. Way to go Stan!

Stan, very nice largemouth !
Travis, I like the flow and pose of your pink salmon !
Josh, very nice Atka Mackerel. Did you mold this fish ?

This week I have a SKIN mounted Customer Brook trout, 18" L x 12" G x 3 1/2 lbs.  Caught in Westline, Pa.  I was able to mold this skin mount, and it came out very well. No movement what so ever..... Wink

Never even heard of a mackeral like that. Looks like a cross between a yellow perch and a grayling. But I've been seeing lots of fish on here that i've never heard of.
