IT"S NOT ART TILL SOMEONE DOESN"T LIKE IT !

« Reply #30 on: August 27, 2007, 11:30:41 PM »

I want to thank all of you for your compliments. I'm just a working man like all of you are.
Trying to make too tomorrow.
Some on here think that I post these pics for my ego and those of you that know me or have met me know that I'm quite humble but have a lot of confidence and pride in who and what I am.

When I post a pic it's for a few reasons:

First you do enjoy  looking at nice clean, very well done, work and I like to post things you don't see often.

Second I want to show all of you what" YOU" can do if you put your heart and soul into something and use the gift god gave you. He gave you the "RAW" talent and brains to refine it. Nothing is truly appreciated if everything is given to you.

Third " is"  for my benefit, but not in the way you might think. I want you to get better for my sake, that keeps me on my toes and doing the best I can do. As your skills as artists increase  I then have to step it up a level. The better your works gets the better mine gets.

For any of you that are located in Southern Michigan. I will at Cabela's this weekend Sept 1-2 in the MTA booth. I will be mounting a double pedestal Red Lechwe ram and cow on Saturday and a Roan Antelope Pedestal on Sunday during store hours in Cabela's. Please stop by and say Hi,
I would look forward to meeting you.

Two things tahat are bad,,,, one,I just saw this post this morning,,,,,two,,,,I made a Cabelas order last night on line. Shucks, I may go to Cabelas anyway just to see the humble Mountain Dew drinking Master.

That is one of the most alive looking piece of art that I have seen in a long time. I'm glad that you put a post of it. It shows me how far I need to go to. I hope one day my work could come close to yours. Don't ever stop putting post of your work as it is a inspiration to me as I'm sure it is to for a lot of people on here. Again congratulations on such a beautiful piece of art.
