Sierra, my quarter horse :)

I just mounted a squirrel, but when his nose dried it stretched out of the position I had it in and now it doesn't look like it's suppose to. I guess I should have watched it more as it dried? Anyway, I was wondering if you could rehydrate a borax-ed hide without it slipping or having problems? I usually only wet tan my skins so I've never had this problem before. Thanks in advance.-Emily

wrap it in a wash cloth (small) and bag it with a sandwich bag over cloth - should rehydrate in a couple of hours

I just mist it with water bottle and put some plastic wrap over it and check in a little while..A squirrel is real thin skinned so should rehydrate fairly quick
