2009 Iowa Show

« on: September 10, 2007, 01:50:55 PM »

Here's a picture of an open mouth bear woodcarving that i did a while back. It took me a lot of thought to figure out what the walnut burl reminded me of. It's supposed to be as if the bear is trying to get at you through a hollow log or other small opening and only the nose and mouth are visible. Let me know what you think. It won a blue ribbon at the Iowa state fair a couple years ago.
