Hello,
  I was finishing a deer skull,and noticed the metal tag on the horn touched the skull and left a rust stain.Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove just the rust stain.I tried peroxide with no luck so far.Any ideas are welcome.Thank you.Rancid

Rit Rust Remover or Whinks Rust remover from Wally World usually does the trick.

you can also use a product called iron out mix with warm water and make a paste place it on the on the effected area leave for a few min the remove it works very well good luck

I am up in the West Kootenai, west side of Lake Koocanusa about a mile from Canada.
