Would like to get some help on what to use for a tongue on a timber rattler.

Use the actual tongue if you can. Pull it out of the head, set it in the pose you want and let it dry some. Then coat it with modge podge. You can also let the tongue soak in alcohol or Stop Rot for a day and then let it dry and coat with the modge podge. Makes great looking natural tongues. If you can't use the real tongue re-build one with apoxie Smiley

An easy way to make a tongue is to drizzle hot glue into a bucket of water, find a piece that looks like the tongue that you need and then paint it.
