Where can I find a few good suppliers of habitat materials?

Steve, you have to take them all with a grain of salt.  All of them have SOME excellent stuff and all of them have some pure crap.  I shop around as much as possible.  I like several of th larger companies, but even they will have some "plastic looking" stuff they're trying to sell.  Evelyn Holmes carries a good line, Van Dykes has some good stuff, as does Research, Sullivans, Photographic Foliage, and a few others.  Your Hobby Lobby or Michael's will have a few good items.  What I do is that when I find it, I just buy it in bulk and keep it on hand.  Just as soon as you wait to find it for a special piece, it's not going to be there any longer.  I collect sheet moss, lichen,  and dried thistle heads from West Virginia, I picked up dead birch limbs and bearded moss from Ontario, white oak acorns , light wood stumbs and Spanish moss in South Carolina, Cypress knees and saw palmetto from Florida, sage brush from Montana, cholla limbs from Arizona, and fungi in southern Maryland.  It's all in the shop attic for in case I need it.

Hey George, I tried to find a website for Photographic Foliage but came up blank. Do you know of one for them?
