Here is one that I done of my nephew that I done off of a picture I took of him playing in the sand at the beach.  Excuse the dullness of the photo.  I do not own a high quality digital camera YET.

I don't mind at all Amy.  Yours looks really good.  I love the wolf.  Do you go and cut your own wood or do you order it off of walnut hollow, or just go to the craft store, and buy it.  I am looking for the cheapest way out.  Love the burns though.  Makes me want to go practice a little more lol.....

I get my wood at craft stores like Michaels. The Walmart near me has it too. The basswood plaques are a bit pricey but they are really the best wood to burn on. Most other woods are not easy to burn onto, because of the texture or grain in the wood. I tried pine .. no good. If you're going to take the time to do a good burn, best to go with a quality basswood piece.

Wal-Mart is the place where I have been getting my wood from.  You are right though the basswood is the best.  I done one on the other wood this weekend and was very hard to burn on.  I need to make a trip to Michaels.
