help identify this  weird fish first.

half crocodile like
half coral fish like.
fish head like flounder  type  too ince eyes is on top.
color   is like grouper.
saltwater fish specie  - lives  in coral.
its mouth is like  grouper too.
tell me if i got something very weird here.
of south east asian coral fish.

It looks like some kind of sculpin, but I have no idea what species it might be.
I didn't know they got that big.

Kinda what I was thinking too Nancy, sculpin ot searobin, but didn't think they got that big. Does it have little leg-like things on the bottom?

they get as big as double size my peole say.
  i have it now as  20 inches .
 it can be about 40 inches. and darker color.
sculpin? sea robin,???
now  do i have something quite  weird ?
no sign of  legs.  becky.

i think you will get your answers when more people see this, but is this the same type of fish in den007's avatar, it sure looks similar, but i have no idea what it is. good luck, i cant wait to find out, gods creatures are a wonder , there are so many of them i will never know existed.

i see  becky, sort of  sticklike  legs 
no becky they only have fins, nothing of that .
but your  fish looks weird  too with stick legs like that.
i wonder if that is saltwater  or freshwater.?
the striking  feature  i have  is that it has  a crocodile like  snout
and they grow large. and i ate a few long time ago.

Yes, these are saltwater, but they are not mine, just a pic a got off the net, but we have caught some similiar at the coast.
