The other day I was kinda bored so I made up these lyrics...too bad I can't sing, if I could I'd make it into a real "song"! I thought people here might enjoy the lyrics though. Smiley

Road Kill Roundup

You want to do some taxidermy,
But you haven’t got anything dead.
It’s not a common problem, so you’ve got to use your head.
You should look along the highway, with a cooler in your truck,
Look all through the ditches, and you might have decent luck.

You might find a pureed possum
You might find a mashed raccoon.
You might find a squishy squirrel.
You might find a deer buck.

It’s the Road Kill Roundup!

You never know the things you’ll find.
The highway is a gold mine.
You always come home with something dead
in that cooler in back of your truck.

You might find a rancid woodchuck,
You might find a mushy duck
You might find a maggoty weasel.
You might find a squashed up skunk.

It’s the Road Kill Roundup!

Now that you’ve got a bunch of critters,
Hang one by his feet,
And skin him down right to his toes
Tan his hide and cook his meat.

Then take your mounted critter to the taxidermy show,
And then you’ll win a ribbon or a golden trophy cup.
Thank the Road Kill Roundup!
