The Week in Fish Pictures~ Year 2# Week#8

Welcome from Lima Center Wisconsin!. I'm posting a bit early this week to say Happy Thanksgiving to all and start the week off with a note of thanks to all of you who contribute here on The Week in Fish Pictures! What a great time here in Wisconsin and some truly nice folks up there for sure that I have got to see and meet while I'm here!

Last week was a great week again with lots of great fish work!!!I really loved to see the old mixed with the new. It sure was fun for me to see the work of so many of you gifted folks from your early attempts at what we do! Great fun we'll do this again in the year for sure!

Week #8 of the second year was great and lots of truly tremendous works of art! I love to see new folks show up and show there stuff and it is a gift always to have the faithful each week show their talent too!!

From beginner's to the best in the world we all join in every week in a critique free and hassle free string with nothing more then great artist and inspiring fish taxidermist and carves get together to share with one another their praise and inspiration of good will and friendship to one another.
So with out further ado lets get week #8 under way.

I want to start the week with a Good friend of all of us Mr. Joshua Knuth! Kathie, Miss Amber and your truly got to visit with Josh while visiting here in Wisconsin. Josh and his wife ( well for that matter his whole family) are such gifted and talented people/ Artists! I sure had a great time spending some time at Josh's studio and his home which is well dispaled with wonderful art work! I want to start the week off with a few of Josh's projects in progress. Josh is a gifted and immensely talented sculptor and mold maker for sure!

So here we go and here is to a great week #8! Enjoy!

My Best!
Your friend
Rick Krane

Here is the first of 2. Josh has made a mold of if I'm correct the World record Red Horse! How cool is that! Big wonderfull scale the size of a canvas Josh will do this fish great Justice!

Here is a beautiful Laker Josh will be getting ready for a production fish that will be available to all of us! What a beautiful fish he has molded! Great work!

Thanks Rick!
It was great to have you come by, And great to meet your family!
I have to say to you Rick you are a very talented and gifted man, not just in the world of fish work!
You are truly a kind and generous individual, I want to thank you for stopping by to chat with me, After our little meeting yesterday You really got the little hamster in my head running, the wheel was spinning all night Grin lol
After you left I had a very productive evening! I came up with bunch of new Ideas and a renewed confidence that I am on the right road with my work.
Thank you for that, it was truly needed!
Have a save trip back, and happy holidays!

Josh how lucky you are to be sourounded by fantastic artists.   3 great artists to inspire each other daily.   Some people have to go to work and others love to go to work It wouldn't be hard to guess where you fall.

hey Travis
Looks great from what I can see!
Painting replicas for some is a daunting task. The kind of work that needs to be done in baby steps.
Rick will really help you out!

Wow Josh !!! Your family is super talented . The paintings are as good as any I`ve seen anywhere . There are some strong artistic genes in your family .
Yor castings are great also . I know where to look in the future for great repro`s . I also enjoy seeing your fish postings . Keep up the great work .
