After 17yrs of hunting I connected with my dream white-tail.I shot him on the run at 100yds with my .35 whelen and a 200gr Barnes TSX.He went down about forty yards later. He is a scoreable 8x8 but a typical 6x6.He oficcially scored 192 NT and 188 gross typical and netted 174 4/8 B&C.I skinned him for a lifesize mount. The best part was I had my two year old son with me and my dad was along too.For an Alberta buck he wasn't very big in the body,he might have weighed 200lbs to 220lbs on the hoof.
