This is from the e-mail that was sent to me:

This year say

                      Happy Holidays!

With an Online Taxidermy Class!

Give the gift of learning a new career!

Since 1975, The American Institute of Taxidermy has been proud to be the leader in taxidermy training. Now we would like to bring that training to the comfort of your own home by being the first to offer online classes. Starting in January 2008, we will be offering Deer and Pheasant Mounting sessions.

Flexibility - Continue to live your life, devote time to family, friends, and work as needed, and still have time to learn a new career.
Save Time & Money -  Work a full time job while learning your new career, thus saving you time lost having to attend classes or going to part time status. No travel or lodging fees.
Learn - A new career in the comfort of your own home at your pace.
Mount - Your own trophy Deerhead for under $70 in materials, or your own trophy pheasant for under $15 .

You don’t have to go to a taxidermy school

let the taxidermy school come to you!

DAAAA, but didn't know if it was almost like a sit in class where you could plug into it with head phones like a conference call and ask question while he is doing it live, or are you not up on technology these days.....

I am up on technology as you call it, but why not just attend your states show and you can attend several seminars and view and ask questions LIVE !  I am not one to stand in anothers way to spend or make a dollar, but it seems like a waste since you can buy a video and watch it, pause it, rewind it, etc as many times as you like.   Huh

I'm not for or against them. I posted what was sent to me. I just found it interesting. Your right a video probably is a better way to go, but videos don't answer questions either.

Not sure why you would pay that kind of money to learn taxidermy online when you can get the video.  There are plenty or great people on here willing to talk to you and answere questions.  I guess its a good concept, but not what I would consider "taxidermy school".  Just my opinion, because I am no where near a taxidermist,,,,,not just yet.
