I'm going to have a doe cape tanned. I'm going to send it to the wilderness gallery (unless someone  has another suggestion) what do I need to do to it before I send it. this is my first try at a mount.

Have you searched the archives?  George wrote a good thing on proper prep work in September.  The only thing I do differently is how I grind my salt into my cape.  I only use one pair of gloves, but that's because I have an actual grinding stone that was my husband's grandmothers years & years & years ago.  Works great & totally saves my hands.  Here's the link newguy.  Have fun.
