red fox w/black belly???

how common is this?  His legs are solid jet black - going to grey above the elbow/hock, black fur on belly and highly black tipped fur on the tail (except the tip is white).

this is a red - not a cross....but sure looks like he wanted to be..LOL

I see them here in western Alaska...black belly and darker leggs and tipping on the tail gaurd hair,not that uncommon here.
