Hi, I've looked in the past topics forum and didn't see any posts that helped. What I was wondering is ; what is dry preservative? I have a weasel to mount for a guy and I'm hoping I don't have to tan it. From what I've read DP seams to be the way to go on that small of an animal. Also he wants an open mouth pose and of all the taxidermy catalogs I have, none of them have jaws for a weasel. Can I use the original skull if I clean it really good? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dp preserves the skin and from my expirence it works well about the skull I think you could not sure though

clean skull and preserve skin with denatured alcohol - much better than dp and animal wont slip
