Research foam bases?
«

I purchased a foam base from Research and need to know if I have to rough-up the base before I attach my dirt, sand and gravel? It has kind of a smooth slippery, shiny, skin to it right now?

Yes, I would. From what you described the condition of the base. I have never used them. I have used some foam bases from Anothy Eddie Wildlife. There are usually ready to attach finished product. If you rough up it will help your adhesive for habitat. Good Luck, Jim

Just take a torch, small propane and burn the mold agent off. Do this outside but is quick and fairly easy, just dont let it flame up too quick!

I am getting ready to order some of these foam bases to put some bobcats on, but not really sure on how to paint to look like rocks. Any suggestions?
