It appears that you have the skull plate layed back too much. Look at the position of the pedicals.

Agree with Jim. Distance from back of eye to burr should be no more than 1-1/2" or so. Even so, 99% of your customers would be more than happy with that mount.

I guess if I knew what "look" you were working on I might have a better idea what I'm looking for. IF the animal is aggressive, the ear butts are not right and the ears need to be farther down. The ears are lumpy. The eye is "sleepy". In an aggressive pose, there would (or should IMHO) be some white showing. The eyes would definitely be opened more. The nose is not tucked properly. Check your references. The white hairs are guard hairs that appear inside the nostril opening. The "wings" show this especially. I can't tell for sure from that angle, but it looks as if the nostrils are opened too widely. Not that such a thing isn't common today as MOST manikins have the nostril openings opened too far anyway. Your profile is a bit wavy to my liking and I suspect that the antlers have been tipped a bit too far up as said earlier.
Your mount shows great potential and I think just using good reference materials will solve any problems you may have.

Nice effort, but I am going to have to agree with almost everything Uncle George coached you through. But don't trust us, trust nature. Oh, I will let you decide what I don't quite agree on in George's statement. Read the reference,,,,

I doubt it, but I put my butt on the line to help you out. Promise to bring me jig-saw puzzles in prison, will you?
