After 2 years of doing shoulder mounts, fish, and small critters, I have finally gotten a lifesize wt doe to do. Here is the problem. I have never done one, but I am willing to take on the job. If anyone knows of a good video or, willing to give up a few trade secrets please share them with me. Oh, there is one more problem. The doe is albino. Not piebald, albino.

There is a video by Van Dykes on mounting a L/S whitetail buck, and I watched it but it didn't help me much.
Here is a page that might clear up some of the mounting process for you.

Is the doe skinned ventral? It will be a big help if it is. I have heard it can be hard to taxi and sew up a dorsal skinned WT.

If its dorsal I think he can sew it up before he puts it on the manikin. Then ventral cut it?Huh?? Is this correct or am I dreaming?

Nina, myself I would recomend Dorsel skinning, even if it meant sewing up a Ventral cut...

Just seems easier to get on the form & makes sewing easier IMO  Grin

Breakthrough issue #77 and #78 have an article about mounting an albino shoulder mount. This shows how to pigment the hide paste so pink shows through. It might be worth buying those if you don't have.

Nina, the doe was cut up the belly for gutting. He wants the pose to be lying down with an alert head position. I looked at the website you sent me. WOW, thats a lot more sewing than I realized. Jibjones, I took your advice and ordered the mags. Also subscribed. Thank yall.

if its lying down we tend to not do a dorsal cut that way stitches are on the bottom just a matter of what you like I guess.
