CALL OR NOT TO CALL? HELP PLEASE
«
on:
November 08, 2006, 09:31:48 PM »
I need help on weather or not to call and complain to WASCO. I just received my life size bobcat form from them and it is all busted up. The legs are broke and there are holes to fill in from shoty casting / form filling. Is this just to be expected and part of the job or should I call them.
Not normally a calm guy about damage materials. So please help me think this through.
Thank you

I'm sure if you call them, they'll make it right! Heck, I would have called somebody as soon as I opened the box.

LMAO Ya UPS can do some doozeys.. Though normally everything arrives in good shape..
Hey dont worry about calling the next day.. Heck I am in Calif.. time difference causes me to have to make my calls for orders and such before the afternoon LOL..So when I got my squirrel form it came by UPS which comes after 4pm MY time.. Meaning WASCO is closed by then, so I had to call the next day too.
I am sure they will be more than happy to send you another one.
Ive ordered all my 98% forms from them and 98% of my supplies and they have always been great for customer service. Once and order came but was missing an item.. They said no problem, and sent it right out to me..and they dont charge for the shipping charges to ship it either.
Anyhow Just call them tomorrow and IM sure you will find their customer service is top notch.

THANK YOU EVERYONE
I get a little pissed right as things happen so I have learned to just what a few min. or till the next day and ask a few questions then deal with it. My temper has hindered me more in the past then helped. So thank you for all you answers. I have never had any trouble with WASCO before or there customer support, but this made me made. I hope you all can see where I got up set. A for cost x amount of dollars and then the first thought I had is great now I have to put more time in to fixing it and then get to start mounting it.
So Thank You For Your Help

B Kennedy, Why did you not wait and call them first before posting here? Anytime you have a complaint go to the company instead of having doubts.

I agree with most that have posted, UPS does a pretty good job busting up a lot of form's in the shipping process. But if the form was not molded together evenly WASCO will surely replace.
Good Luck, Jim

Ha Ha, UPS rapes you on the shipping then does a crappy job. I use fed ex anytime possible...they may not be much cheaper or any faster BUT they are for sure more HELPFUL!
As far as forms go, I recently got a deer form from my regular supplier that had a 1/4 inch difference in molding.....I fixed it but had I had the time I would have sent it back. I don't understand why some companies can make mannikins that look like GLASS and others can't seem to mold anything right.

Good Ol US Postal Service has done a great job for me. They're the cheapest by far and they have NEVER damaged or lost a package of mine. The ONE time I used UPS they damaged my fish. AND, that thing literally had to be tossed around because it was crated like it was a shipment of eggs. UPS SUCKS!!!

Well I got a hold of WASCO this morning. They are a topnotch. The fact that some of the damage may have been done by UPS dose not surprise me but most of the damage was caused by faulty form making.
Never the less they are taking care of it and doing it with a smile. Great bunch of lades to talk to this early in the morning.
Thank you every one
