Is it me or is this actually a raccoon nose being passed off as a sabertooth tiger?

That is totally a raccoon snout. I've got a whole 'coon skull right here on my desk, and the snout on it looks exactly the same. And even a whole coon skull isn't worth $66. What a ripoff! Besides, I've never heard of a "Sword Tooth" Tiger...

What's really funny (though not if you get taken!) is how different things look when photographed up close - and cut up weird ways!  I had to do a double take - at first I thought it was a bear but when I read the desc.....

Looks like someone was trying to make a Tasmanian wolf. They've been extinct
since the early 1900's. Still a good job of mounting!

hehehehe....let me tell you something about useless small treasures...I had an African lion's claw that fell out of a rug mount...there was no way to put it back in and the guy was going to throw it away...i had it laying around for awhile and the decided to put it on Ebay...it sold out at  $61.00...all for one lonely little claw... I also put up a set of zebra feet hoves with tanned skin attached and they sold for quite a bit too...next up....ZEBRA SKIN BOOKMARKS...WOO HOO GET YER BIDS ON NOW!!!!

It looks like a small bobcat skull, or domestic cat. I thought it was a bear skull to like Shrecken, until I read it also. Just goes to show, don't throw anything away. lol
