Christian Greetings!

Welcome to week #6 of fish photo Friday!

This is a posting where everyone is welcome to post photos of something fish related they completed in their studio this week.

Blessings over the miles,
Greg & Son's

Two samples from this weeks production floor:

Here is a skin mount of a 10" Tiger Trout . We carved a body for it and used a replica head.

The walleye is also a skin mount with a custom carved reverse curve body and a natural head.

I have a 44.5" x 42lb. Chrome Chinook.
This cast came from JG Replicas.
It was a pleasure to work with.
I beleive it may have been molded by UFD(Dave C.)?
It looks like one of his mounts.
Hope I did it justice.

Absolutely beautiful fish this week, everyone!  Very cool stuff, indeed.  Wink

Rich, you are correct about that RCK5:  It is a Cowlitz River Springer circa 1996.  And, you MORE than did it justice....  Smiley

44 inch Tiger Musky skin mount from Lake Gervais in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and a Striper hybrid skin mount from somewhere in Iowa I believe. The pictures kind of stink as they were taken from my phone. Both are on hand carved mannikins and examples of my customer work. The striper had some scales missing when I got it in but there was not much I could do for it so had to leave them missing.  Beautiful work guys as always,Mark V.

My contriibution for this week............spent 3 days on my back dealing with muscle spasms so didn't get much accomplished workwise.

6.5 lb Lake Lanier, Georgia largemouth bass. Carved body.

Any hints on making GOOD digital photos of mounted fish.............I seem to have problems with lighting whether shooting indoors or out.
