Question about salting
«
on:
February 02, 2008, 06:49:16 PM »
My uncle wanted to mount his own deer head so I told him to salt the cape really good overnight, put new salt on and shake off after a week and let air dry. I don't do taxidermy that much as I am a carver, but have heard enough here over the last several years that I thought that it was OK to tell him that. Thank you.
