This tends to be a personal preference item to some degree. PERSONALLY, I don't think there's a better one than the Van Dykes double axle one that has the removable plastic drum with the sealed lid top. I use a 55 gallon drum with mine. I made the baffles instead of buying from them so that I could attach them to the drum istelf and save all that "bird cage" stuff with theirs. I modified mine by making both axles drive wheels by adding a pulley and a "V" belt to the drive mechanism.
I like their tumbler simply because I don't have sawdust all over the place. The sealed lid allows me to remove the barrel from the tumbler, open it and dump or add sawdust as I desire without the mess of the trap door models. It's also a separate unit in that the drum can be removed for maintenance to the unit with very little effort except to slide the drum out. With the trapdoor models, you'll require complete disassembly.
