I am just wondering what some of you guy/ gals use for backing on a pedestal mount (whitetail)??

In my huumble opinion, nothing looks any better than the real back skin. but if the cleit didn't plan ahead and so it is not available a complimentry colored piece of appropriate leather sewn in or tucked into a grove for a completly finished look is OK.
