OK this will probably sound cheesy but I am putting up a challenge to all especially the larger shops that look on here just like I do to see whats going on day to day but really don't contribute much.  Starting on November 18th and the 18th of each month until either I die or TERF goes under I am going to contribute $100.00 dollars to the Terf fund plus what ever I can do on donations for their sale sight.  That's $1200.00 a year in hard cash may not sound like much but if the other studios the size of mine in the U.S.A. do the same it could add up to one hell of a lot of money.  So Evelyn, Buck and Gunny lets see what happens.

Over 600 hits but only a handful of donors. If everyone that read this post would have donated just one dollar, we would've collected enough money by now to help out one taxidermy studio. Something to think about.

I know it is easy to become complacent, and you figure that there is nothing going on right now that would justify the need for donations to TERF. You couldn't be any more wrong. Listen to the news, wildfires in California, floods in the Northwest, severe storms with tornadoes ahead of cold fronts in the Midwest. Just the other day a tornado touched down in Florida causing extensive damage to a comunity.

What if your studio would've have been located in that community? Wouldn't it be nice to know that there is a fund out there just for YOU. A fund that would give you money to make ends meet until the insurance companies kick in, to keep you going for the short term?

Well there is such a fund and it is called Taxidermist Emergency Relief Fund or TERF for short. But in order for it to continue being able to help studios and taxidermist, it needs YOUR help. Please donate, even if it is only $5. It all adds up. If we all start to give a little, we'll have a whole lot in a short time.

We here in the Mat-Su Valley are experienceing 40-85mph wind gusts. My furnace heater went out in the trailer last night. We are LUCKY; we have a wood stove and electric heaters that we use to help.  Imagine if we didn't........ and those that might not!
