I got back a oribi l/s and noticed right off the bat that the skin has a rubber texture. Acid swell is what it looks and feels like and it is wet tanned. So now I am trying to put him together and there is no strength in the hide to hold a stitch let alone if you try and give him a little stretch the skin just rips. Does anyone have any good ideas how to get through this one. Any help would be appreciated, it is about to be donated to the garbage can lol. Thanks

None of this can be reversed, no stretch is one thing but ripping and not holding a stitch is another. It`s shot.
