I am a novice started practicing WT deer mount for myself and did 1 mount and started a second for my brother. Moved and couldn't finish my second mount.  I have a hide that was tanned with Lutan F and oiled with Pro Plus oil about 18 months ago.  Cape is dry and looks okay.  I  pull on hair and no hair pulls out.  There are a few spots where there is a dry white substance (I think may be where oil was heaviest).   Can I rehydrate and mount this hide?  Any suggestions/precautions?  This is not a huge trophy - more a practice deer.  Thanks!
