what removes superglue from feathers.

i was loading some on a pinhead...and POP a little glob of the plugged end landed on the breast feathers of a finished bird...six feet away Angry

...yet another rookie lesson, live and learn i guess.

I haven't tried it yet but, I believe nail polish remover or acetone will do the trick. I would try to dab at it with a Q-tip first. Good luck. I'm sure somebody here has a tried-and-true method, if that doesn't work.

Have you ever squeezed a tube of what you thought was GEL super glue when in reality it was just a tube of plain ole RUNNY liquid super glue? Its not pretty when your gluing the skin on a fake head down LOL!!

If you haven't done that then you haven't used a lot of superglue LOL. Don't go to the restroom with some excess superglue on your fingers either WOW

ohh....thanks for the visual...yikes!

thanks for the input all...
acetone and just a bit of laquer thinner worked but the DURO stuff will be on the shelf from now on.
