Where can I get the white foam guys are using on polar bear bases to simulate hard white snow. I saw alot of this at SCI in Reno this year and it looks cool. Gonna try it on some lynx I have to mount this season. Thanks-Darrell

alot of craft stores around here (salt lake, ut) stock it in many different shape and sizes, namely cones/balls. i naver have asked about large sheets of it...check around, depending on your location it may be more available than you think.

I didn't see the work that you were talking about, but I just saw some big white foam at Menard's yesterday when I was in there. It caught my eye when I walked by and it looked like it could work.

I know the stuff your talking about. Try wal-mart or a craft store that sells fake flowers, this is the stuff they poke the flowers into to keep them in place. I know the wal-mart here sells it in the craft section, The sheets are only about 2'' thick by 1' wide and 18'' long but you can glue them together.

You can order large sheets from Monarch Taxidermy. Ask for Tony at 406-449-2991. Check the Breakthrough article issue #88.

What would you use to glue the sheets together?
