High School Grad, built a new house and got a mortgage at 20, and a wife at the age of 21. Made a child at 22.  Got in the hole so deep starting out that there was no room for college. Mom said there were two ways to make money, with your head or with your back. So here I set with a trashed out spine, and a tired head. This quote has always helped me when I have regrets of not going to collage to get a degree in something, but looking back, I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to be. I knew that I always wanted to fly a homebuilt airplane, and that is still in the back of my mind. I do not know who penned this quote.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race”

Product of the Los Angles Unified School System. No I know what you think, but I never went to prison nor murdered anyone. I've often thought about it though. Wink Undergrad at Longbeach state, music major.Graduated USC California school of Arts.Thinking back i have never really had a proper job for very long but have been a full time Taxidermist for 12 years. We now have 4 fulltime employees, and I wouldn't change jobs with anyone.Well...I can think of a few people I would but you know what I mean.

My nephew was 145 IQ also, but because he was smarter than all the teachers he decided he did not want to finish some assignments in one class, so they did not let him finish High School. They wanted to make a point. He went later to get that finished and on to college and then as it always is with those with brains that are quick and remember everything like a computer, are just as confused about life as another. Like everyone already has said in here before me, Life is what you make of it, not what you were or how much they say your IQ was. Look at Bill Clinton, his IQ was like up near 160-180 I believe and he is one big F*&%$up  as others like him had been. Wasted himself with something like Monica and the others, when he could have been maybe without our knowledge of his rants, the best President ever. But oh no, he showed us how he wanted to be among the worst. Life is what we make it to be.
