You will get some negative feedback from some about Microtan. However, my experience with them has been great so far. Alan seems to be a very nice guy, I spoke to him several times before shipping out any hides to him. I sent 8 frozen capes to him and I am very pleased with the finished product. Thin and even shaving of the hide with only thie eyelids to finish. After washing and soaking in the Kemal -4 per their directions, the capes had alot of stretch. I havent mounted any of the capes yet but I dont forsee any problems. The turn around was about 1 month.

you can't go wrong with micro tan!!! They can save you tons of time on the tedious end of things, and the final product is top notch. Good stretch, nicely thinned....very little prep work before mounting

The capes come back really shrunken even after wet tan. Stretch is terrible. They must have 5 yr olds fleshing cause the capes come back looking like a piece of swiss cheese, usually in the worst places too.(eyes, ears, lips, nose) Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else! Not a one time occurence either ,they damaged many of my capes to almost beyond repair.
