Ok for your first duck. My opinion would be to set down with a picture of a drake wood duck, and try to see what aspects look like your mount, and where they may differ. On my next one, I would try to duplicate the picture. At least your first duck looks like a duck! My first duck didn't look like a duck.

I cannot tell from the pics how good the colors are...  like TWinter said - at least it looks like a duck...   I am still learning birds and hope when I start on the waterfowl that my first attempts turn out as well...   keep at it...

Nice looking duck!

I think that ducks are like fish, what they lose in size they make up for in beauty!

When it is your first duck and people viewing your post can tell that it is not only a duck, but can also tell that it is a drake woodie, well you have done a good job. Keep up the good work and pay attention to your reference.

Not bad for #1 cant wait to see how much better you are when you get your airbrush up and running again.

When a gazelle wake up in the morning it knows it must out run the fastest lion to survive. When a lion wakes up it knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle to survive. the point is when the sun comes up you better be running
