hey everyone, i just finished my sixth deer head two nights ago and wanted yall to take a look and see what i need to change for the next one, this is a deer that i killed last year and mounted as my first try and just redid it its amazing how much improvement you can make by just repition and learning from your mistakes, anyways let me know what you think. any opinions are welcome. also i want yall to be VERY honest and tell me how far yall think i am from COMMERCIAL quality work, the last thing i want to do is start taking in heads and make a bad name for myself by not puttig out quality work, i have seen work from local taxidermist around here and think i am getting close but i would like yalls opinions ( HONEST). some adjustments have been made to they eyes since the pics were taken, i widened the front corner just a bit

Looks real good for a sixth. The eyes do need a little attention shape is off a little (one of my weak points as well). There was a post a few weeks back and Boxie did some cool crap to a guys eyes and showed him the corect shape. Maybe someone knows the post or Boxie can tune in and fix for you to help you out. Very clean though Good Job

The ear butts are a little to long, about an inch. As someone said, your deer can not hear as his ear canel is dislocated.
