After a mount has dried (coon mount) can you rehydrate the feet or toes enough to make adjustments for attaching to a different base.  The toes are filled with Critter Clay.

not to impose on your post but... can you do the same thing with deer eyes, if they didnt come out right?  If so how...

I think everyone has to rehydrate at some point in time, I do it fairly often.
Just wet a paper towell and place it on the foot, across the eyes or where ever you need to make adjustments and cover with foil or or plastic bag for a day.
