 Huh Can I leave my deer hide in the pickle until this weekend when I can work on it as long as the PH is keep at 1.0 to2.0.  Using McKenzie tanning kit.

You can leave a hide in the pickle as long as you need to.

I've left things in a pickle for weeks with no problems.  Just make sure of your PH levels.

I prefer a PH of closer to 1 than to 2, But ,yes, Once the solution is stabilized,you can leave hides in it indefinitely. I also prefer to get the salt level to 40-50-%.
