artificial water question

i'm using the scenery resin for the first time and was wondering how much catalyst to use. I'll be using about a quart at a time.

It depends on the resin, should say on the packaging. Regular fiberglass resin takes 12-15 drops per ounce.

It has been a while since I used the stuff but if I remember correctly I also needed a surface hardener or it stayed tacky to long like several days maybe I mixed it wrong but when I used the hardener it was just right. This is just fyi Hope all works well for you.

There is a chart in the WASCO supply catalog, next to the artificial water. It also depends on the humidity and temp where you are working.

it depends on humidity,i use gel permotor with catalist,ii only use 10 drops of catalist and about 6 drops of gel permotor, and steer slow so you wont get a bunch of bubbles in it,it gels pretty quick so be careful ,when it starts to gel pour it so you cqan get swirls i it n the water,i
